When you use Kohnex, we collect:
- Account data: Email address, name (if provided via OAuth)
- Usage data: API queries, tool calls, query patterns, timestamps
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information
- Payment data: Billing information processed by Razorpay (we do not store card details)
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the Kohnex service
- Track usage quotas and enforce rate limits
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send service-related communications
- Detect and prevent abuse
3. AI Training Protection
We do not sell, license, or provide your data to AI companies for training purposes.
Your query data, reasoning outputs, and usage patterns are not used to train, fine-tune, or improve any third-party AI models. We do not share data with AI training providers.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Query logs are retained for 90 days for debugging and abuse prevention. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit
- Encrypted storage for sensitive data
- Regular security audits
- API key hashing (we store hashes, not plaintext keys)
- OAuth 2.0 with PKCE for secure authentication
