We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the Kohnex service
  • Track usage quotas and enforce rate limits
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send service-related communications
  • Detect and prevent abuse

3. AI Training Protection

We do not sell, license, or provide your data to AI companies for training purposes.

Your query data, reasoning outputs, and usage patterns are not used to train, fine-tune, or improve any third-party AI models. We do not share data with AI training providers.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Razorpay: For payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • AWS: For hosting and infrastructure (data stays in us-east-1)
  • Google: For OAuth authentication (if you sign in with Google)
  • Law enforcement: When required by law or to protect rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Query logs are retained for 90 days for debugging and abuse prevention. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

  • Encrypted storage for sensitive data
  • Regular security audits
  • API key hashing (we store hashes, not plaintext keys)
